Tinted Windows

1. Open your car in Photoshop. I am using the Aston Martin V8 Vantage that I modded in a previous tutorial.

2. First, make a selection of the windows. You can do this by using many different methods, just do the one that you feel best with. As the windows are basically the same colour throughout, I tend to use the Magic Wand Tool then use the Lasso tool to add bits that haven't been selected and remove the bits that shouldn't.

3. Create a new layer and fill the selection with black, then set the blending mode to Soft Light and change the opacity to 75%

4. You should then get a result similar to this:

The soft light blending mode keeps the shine effects from the lighting and means that you don't just have a thick black screen.
