1. Hey there, this is the first Tutorial in the 2003. Happy New Year to all of you.
2. The following method how to create a smoke texture, is only for those who want to create something smoky in just a few steps. It's not very precise.
1. I was asked how to do this effect. This Tutorial will show you the technique how you can create something like this.
2. Create a new document 1024 to 768 pixel.. File-New.
3. Fill the background with black and create a new layer. Take the Radial Gradient Tool and create a sphere.
1. Open a new document 1024 to 768 pixel. Make a new layer, fill this layer with 3399CC and apply a Clouds Effect. (Filter-Render-Clouds).
2. Go to Filter-Distort-Ocean Ripple and apply this effect by using Pipple Size=9 and Ripple Magnitude=9.
1. Another example how you can generate some cool effects. Open a new document 1024*768 pixel. Make a new layer and fill this layer with 0099FF. Go to Filter-Pixelate-Color Halftone and use the default settings.
